 My name is George Enyoazu; I am your Green Party Representative and Local Election Candidate for Dundalk Town Council, Dundalk West Ward.
I moved to Ireland in 2001 and have lived in Dundalk ever since. For me and my family, we are very happy to call Dundalk our home. I am a jovial and industrious community leader with good knowledge of issues. I am married with four children.
Living in Dundalk has given me the opportunity to learn about the issues confronting the town. Thus I have been involved in and consistently campaigned for strong community relations, good neighbourliness, integration, social inclusion and equality. I believe in making the society a happy and better place for everyone hence devoting my efforts toward creating understanding and building bridges between people.
I have served on the Board of Directors of Dundalk Simon Community and pioneered a music project which highlighted the work of Dundalk Simon Community. I have an honours degree in Borderlands Studies and currently studying for a Master's degree in International Relations.
I am in politics to serve the people of Dundalk with a clear vision and a very practical and caring engagement so that we can have sustainable development in the town.
Living as I do in Clann Chullainn Park, in the middle of the electoral ward and following much discussion with my neighbours and with people throughout the area, I am aware that there are many issues that are of concern to the people and are of primary concern to me. So I will diligently follow through on getting solutions realized.
Above all, I will be in constant contact with the people on the way their local issues are handled. This is aimed at taking on local perspectives and updating local people on progress being made. I have to emphasize my firm belief that power belongs to the people, so I will ensure that people fully participate.
